The liabilities of failed labour hire business Intermodal Staffing amount to more than $1.2 million, according to preliminary reports filed with ASIC.
The company entered into administration shortly before Christmas, owing roughly $400k to 142 employees/contractors, and more than $850k to external creditors, including the ATO and Work Cover Queensland.
Led by Managing Director Greg Scott, Intermodal Staffing’s other directors John Dixon and Sean Williams are directors of national freight firm Redstar Transport, which also entered into administration around the same time.
Redstar owed the staffing company close to $1 million, the ASIC filings show.
Administrator Ben Verney, from Grey House Partners, told Shortlist a creditors’ report is being prepared for next week.
